We believe that every person is valuable to God and that's why at New Hope Hawaii Kai we strive to do church as a team. We think that for us to make a 'Jesus-Impact' in Hawaii Kai and beyond, we need Holy Spirit-empowered people that serve with willing hearts. We believe there is no great divide between the “ministers” and the “congregation.” Everyone has something they can do to impact the lives of others in the Kingdom of God. From our perspective, every member of New Hope Hawaii Kai is a minister, every person is gifted in some area, and every task is important.

Through our DCAT Conferences (Doing Church as a Team), DESIGN class and Serving in different areas of our church we'll help you discover what you do well, and take steps to use your gifts to make a difference.

A Spirit-empowered serving with the willing-hearted involvement of every person is vital to God’s plan being accomplished.

At our annual DCAT conference we focus on how team members working together can accomplish what God has called the church to do.

In our DESIGN class, you'll dive into the details of your personality, discover your gifts, and see how your design gives insight into God's purpose for your life. You'll find out how you can serve those around you and use your God-given gifts to impact your daily life and even connect more intentionally to opportunities here at New Hope Hawaii Kai.
