New here? Here's your first Sunday.

Walking into a new church is the hard part. So here's the whole morning up front: where to park, what happens with your kids, and when you'll be done.

Tell us you're coming and someone will meet you at the door.

Read what Pat says

Aloha. My name is Pat McFall. I'm lead pastor here at New Hope Hawaii Kai, and we're so glad you're checking out our website. We'd love to see you in person. Our vision at New Hope Hawaii Kai is that every heart in every home would come fully alive in Jesus, and we help people do that by helping them know God, get connected, grow deep and find purpose in Christ. At New Hope Hawaii Kai you're going to find a lot of family, a lot of 'ohana, a lot of intergenerational presence. We've got aunties and uncles and grandmas and grandpas, moms and dads, and we've got keiki all over the place learning and growing in their relationship with Jesus. We'd love to invite you to do the same. So we'd love to see you Sundays at 9 a.m. at Kaiser High School. Aloha.

A short welcome from Pastor Pat McFall, our lead pastor. It runs under a minute.

Questions we get a lot

Didn't see yours? Call (808) 396-7092 or email ohana@newhopehk.org.

What should I wear?

We highly recommend clothes. But seriously, we’re a casual church, so wear what you’re comfortable in.

What is a typical service like?

We start at 9 with worship, led by volunteers from our church. Then a pastor teaches from the Bible in a way you can understand and use in everyday life. We wrap up around 10:30.

Do I have to be a Christian to attend?

No. Prior faith is not required. Whether you’re curious, skeptical or coming back after years away, you’re welcome here.

Can I watch online first?

Yes. Recent Sunday messages are on our sermons page. Watch one and you’ll know what you’re walking into.

What do you have for my kids?

Children’s Ark, for kids 6 months through 5th grade, during the 9 AM service. Bible stories, songs, games and friends, with a background-checked team and a secure check-in and check-out.

Where do I go when I arrive?

Follow the New Hope Hawaii Kai banners from the main lot to the cafeteria. Someone will show you where to go, whether that’s kids check-in, a seat or the restroom. If you want a back-row seat, come a few minutes early. Those go first.

What does the pastor talk about?

The Bible. Our pastors teach straight from it, in plain words, and show how it applies to the week you’re actually having.

Do I have to give money?

Nope. In fact, if this is your first visit, we ask that you don't.

Do you have coffee?

Yes. The coffee is free, and most Sundays there are treats for the family too.

We can't wait to meet you.

Plan your visit and we will:

  • Meet you at the door.
  • Help you get your kids registered for Children's Ark.
  • Show you around church and introduce you to some friendly people.
  • Answer any questions you may have!

See you Sunday.
